Here’s what we bring to the table:
- Account Management – Our account managers visit each account once (or more) per week. Each visit we: check product dates, write up a close-dated product sheet, conduct physical inventory, and consult and suggest an order to the Deli Manager. We also monitor/evaluate deli cleanliness, service levels, and the condition of POP/POS materials.
- No Order Minimums/ Break Cases – We do not have order minimums and we do break cases. Our goal is to help our partners maximize sales, while controlling inventory expense and carry over. This process improves cash flow and most importantly ensures product freshness (it’s part of our Brand promise).
- Full Service Delivery – We do much more than drop and run. When will deliver product we will put away and fully rotate all deli product, which allows our partner’s deli managers to focus on customers.
- Grand Opening & Selling Events – We fully support Grand Opening events with product sampling specialists, as well as a behind the counter training support. Additionally we can provide ongoing event services if there is something specific that a retail partner wants to promote to their customers.
- Prepared Foods Menu Development – Boar’s Head has hundreds of prepared foods sandwich/salad/platter recipes that can be leveraged in your Made-To-Order and/or Grab & Go program. Additionally we have packaging options to brand these menu items.
- Branding – We provide Branded signage and POS/POP materials free of charge.
- Reporting – We can provide monthly tonnage growth reports, which is helpful in charting inventory vs. sales growth. We always want to ensure that inventory growth does not surpass sales growth, thus inverting cash flow.
